As much as I know I shouldn't be thinking of you, I still miss you every now and then. Promises we made to each other, turned into nothing but mere spoken words. Pictures of us are still on my wall, but they're nothing more than pixels from the past. Places that we used to hang out together, are nothing but places. How long will I take to get used to this? I know we need to be apart. I need space. But either way, I'm suffering. Nobody told me it would be this hard. Exhausted from the pain. Worn out trying to hide. What happened to us? We used to be so strong...

I'm not sure if anyone will give two hoots and actually watch the video, but yeah, because I was soooo lazy to type everything out, I randomly blabbered a vlog out.
The front part is super boring but o well.

I didn't know that the gap on my lower set of teeth looked that horrible, I'm wondering why people would even wanna talk to me with that huge gap there.

But I'm glad my dentist will be working on closing that gap from next appointment onwards! It's gonna take a while, but it'll definitely be worth it. I'll have chio teeth and by then nobody can laugh at my gap!

Pardon the random gif! Was so bored.

Awesome Saturday spent with the boy, although it started off rocky due to my bad habit of being soooo damn punctual all the damn time. Told myself not to flare up no matter how angry he is 'cos it was my fault no matter what. Damn, didn't know I could actually control my temper well. I'm an emotional person & I need to learn how to control my emotions better!

Anyway, main aim of that day was to get baby's boat shoes! He is the WORST person to shop with. EVER! He is the fussiest, pickiest, most paranoid customer one can ever get. Seriously hate shopping with him so much. People get a few items from a location. He travels to 5 locations to get 1 item, see what I mean? So after we traveled to Fareast>Wisma>Tangs>Suntec, he finally got his shoes. -_- what to do?!

Man, we've changed so much as compared to the past. I think we've both grown uglier. UGLY COUPLE.

So anyhoo... Went for a job interview at Yoguru this morning! Pretty tedious steps I took! Emailed them, they replied, replied their mail, went for interview. They asked me to take one day to think about it...

This is my thinking face.

Some personal sacrifices would be that
1) NO COLORED/LONG NAILS, meaning bare naked nails for however long I decide to stay at Yoguru until. Mad uncool.
2) I've got to tie my hair up all the time, which I'm kinda fine with it's the same for JC or whichever school in the past
3) I'm gonna get horribly dry hands from washing dishes etc. I'M GUNNA BE OLD AND WRINKLY! MEH. UNHOT! (Not like I've been hot at all anyway...)
Superficial reasons. But I replied them within 2 hours 'cos I'm kinda excited to gain experience from this job!

HELLO, FINALLY A JOB THAT DOESN'T COOP ME UP IN AN OFFICE FACING RADIATION ALL DAY LONG! Who knows if it's gonna be tough or not, but I'm definitely gonna learn from it!
(Psst... If you didn't know... Yoguru is like my favourite yogurt, hands down!)

& oh, my complexion has improved so much after medication, despite all the dryness and all. Gonna go for 2nd appointment tmrw! (After much procrastination...) Gonna be a fun day out with the boy again! ^^

I left my job last Thursday! So glad I'm no longer cooped up in a tiny little office. That's not where I want to be. Before we all know it, we'll be old and rotting, all busy with our careers after graduating from Uni. I want to have my fair share of fun before that happens. So, office job for you? Great. Not for me!

On a wonderful Saturday... The boy and I went to Kallang from some good prawn mee!

It was POURING and it was quite heartaching to see all officers-to-be staying in the rain throughout.

LONGGGG AWAITED DAY!

Met up with Wuhuan and Dexian cos Huan wanted to get her bag (SHE TOOK LIKE ONE MONTH OR SOMETHING TO DECIDE IF SHE WANTED THAT BAG. FAINTS) and I had the discount card.
So we had lunch walked around etc.

Then met Yueli Chuxuan and Poo and we headed over to Browhaus!!!!!!!!!
I was refraining myself from plucking my own brows for a few weeks cos I was growing my brows so my brow therapist can help me trim my brows. But I sorta failed cos I HATEEEEE seeing stray stubs around my brows omg I CANNOT stand it. AT ALL! One thing is, I tend to overpluck my brows. I don't exactly follow the brow trimming rules, I just pluck whichever hair I feel like plucking. Really bad.

Yueli's. Hands down, greatest difference! Her brows are fucking spars + lots of stray hairs. Therapist helped her fill in her brows. She's considering if she should do brow resurrection! Like honestly she looked 10 times prettier after getting her brows done! Frames her face so well.

Mine! Less stray hairs, much neater, more arch.
Therapist commented that my eyebrows are too rounded, no arch, therefore it makes me look droopy. Creating a sharper arch makes me look more alert!
She also commented that I overplucked my brows & have to grow it out.
(Btw just so you know, I didn't apply mascara! Eyelashes looks quite long on the right photo haha quite happy)

We are gonna go back next month for shaping! :D

Shopped at TOPSHOP for their makeup. I declare that Chuxuan is the worst/best person to shop for cosmetics with. She knows where to get all the good stuff, and she gets you to spend a whole lot! >:( It's a love-hate relationship. So those with tight budget, don't jio her out to shop. Will die.

Got to meet up with some of the NY09 dancers for dinner on Wednesday night!
I asked them out because I had to pass Gen some stuff he left with me the other time we went to watch SYF.

Btw, we went to watch juniors' SYF. Personally, I felt that they did GREAT.
Seeing them improve and grow so much stronger made me feel proud of them, regardless of their results :)
I know just how they feel, cos I've experienced it all (not trying to make myself sound so experienced or whatnot, but I can truly understand how they felt).
But ultimately, it's the experience you takeaway from this whole process, not the end that counts. Cliche as it sounds, but so damn true.

Watching them dance on stage made me miss dancing SOOO much! I want to perform on stage again. I guess I won't get much opportunities like these anymore. So... CHERISH EVERY PERFORMANCE WHILE YOU CAN!!!

I'm itching to dance! Gotta hit Oschool for some dance classes to calm my that performer in me waiting to explode!

I digressed. So anyway.

Another thing is... Ancuui passed away.
Felt very sorry hearing news like that. Haven't heard from her in a long time, and the latest update had to be the last update I'll get about her. I don't know what caused her to end her life, but I hope that nobody else would choose to end their own life like that. Tell someone if you have problems, and never treat death as an option. Cos life is way too precious, and leaving would leave the ones you love suffer. In any case, I'm nobody to comment, but I just hope she'd rest in peace, and be happier, wherever she might be.

On a lighter note, I've left my job. My previous post about ABC might have been too judgemental. & everyone in the office are actually all pretty nice. I left the job because I'm not happy. As the saying goes "if you can't change things, change your attitude." I guess it was my attitude towards working. I don't wanna be cooped up in the office, facing the computer all day long. I reckon the following 3 months would be the last 3 months I can fully enjoy, before I have to mug hard all day long in Uni, followed by starting a real serious career.

Honestly, everything is moving so fast I can hardly react. Hence, I'd like to fully enjoy the following 3 months I can have, & do something fun! :)

Started working at a SME firm since last Thursday. First time working for a smaller firm, and it operates SOOO differently from larger firms (e.g. LTA/SPH). I would say I like the environment at the new company, people work together closely, everything is more individualised, I get to learn more and am exposed to different fields that I wasn't exposed to before - such as Real Estate, Advertising, Retail etc.

It is a great learning experience, an eye-opener for me. My contract ends next week, & I'm contemplating if I should stay or find a new job. There is this certain someone I do not like in the company, let's name the person ABC. I feel that ABC is causing me some sort of misery. Maybe I am exaggerating, but ever since I knew I had to handle stuff for ABC, I feel soooo moody.

I know that in the corporate world, survival is not easy. I am just a temporary admin assistant, a small fry in the company, doing all the tiny daily chores like filing, emailing yadda yadda, (those things that matter yet the big shots are too busy to handle), trying my best to gain something from it while waiting for uni to start. I know I have to try my best to meet ABC, or whoever else's expectation, and I sure do. I follow instructions, try to take note of what people say, etc. Yet whenever ABC comments on my work performance, I feel so tiny, so little, so unworthy, so insulted. I doubt myself, and feel that maybe I really am that ignorant as he said, that maybe I am that unworthy, that uncapable.

There are indeed great people in the company that influence me to work harder, learn more, but this ABC really gets on my nerves. I know I am just a small staff, probably insignificant, but I am trying my best to contribute to the company, despite it being only my fourth day at work today. But the treatment I get from ABC makes me feel that my best intentions are being trampled on the ground, right down to ground zero. ABC seems to talk in a way that belittles you. ABC is (in my opinion) mean, and I am not the first one who made that comment. Almost everyone in the office agrees that it is hard to work with ABC (from hear-say, not sure if it's accurate, but people bitch for a reason). I get scolded for things I didn't do wrongly. ABC is seriously bad at giving accurate instructions. & now I try to make it a point to double-check, double-confirm, and ask if the instructions are unclear.

I am a person who does not like people to
1) Overly control me
3) Malign me

I will get back at you if you do either one of this. I will not swallow these issues down if I really can't take it anymore. Meanwhile I am still trying to adjust to ABC's style of handling things, but I'm afraid I might reach my boiling point. There will definitely be people who comment "Oh you are such a spoilt princess, can't even take small hurdles. Get over it." Well, I just really don't like how ABC talks to me. I feel that I deserve respect, even though I am younger, inexperienced, and in a much lower position than ABC. It is hard for me to work under someone who is like that.

In the long run, if I am made to be permanently attached to ABC for work, I would probably suffer from depression and start to be really doubtful about everything. I do not want my job to bring negativities into my life. True enough, I want a job that can enrich me. But I don't need anybody who would bring so much negativities into my life to be within 100m radius proximity from me.

I'll have to consider taking up other jobs/try to get used to this job. Some deep pondering to do...

Deep at night, the moon may be the only source of light. That dim source of light, however, will remind us that the sun will eventually rise, peep through the clouds, and shine, lighting up our world, ever so bright.

It is rare for me to have such a rambly elaborate post on an issue, but yeah, that's just for now.

Couple weeks/days (I lost track) back, we four met up to get Qi's present!

I can't seem to stop my addiction for bbt. My weight gain is pretty self-explanatory....

Had to hold back this batch of photos, in case Qi sees it!
We celebrated her bday at Hard Rock on Thursday!

Brought her cake, and Evelyn asked the waitress to keep it and serve the cake later, all in front of Siqi.
We're running out of ideas to surprise each other, so we just did it the direct way, and told Qi "Pretend you don't know anything okay? Okay. Good." Thumbs up for honesty.

Food wasn't that affordable, so we got a few main dishes, sides, and shared all of them!
Which didn't seem to shortchange the degree of fullness!
Cos the portions were all very huge.

Fish&Chips - slight stench from the fish.

Mac&Cheese with Grilled Chicken. Pretty nauseating the first mouthful, gets better after every bite though. I liked this.

Jumbo Combo - awesome potatoes and chicken, weird dippers they provided.

Got to know that Smoochiezz (awesome site to spree at) will be opening stalls for a flea at TAB (honestly didn't know where the hell that was until last Saturday) via Natalie on twitter. So a few of us planned to head down to together to stock up on some cosmetics! ^^

Had lunch with Chuxuan buddy & Puipui at teppanyaki place at ION.
Speaking of ION, boyfie has this super weird habit of calling the mall "ION Orchard" instead of just "ION".
It's just like saying "313 Somerset". Technically correct, but I think people who refuse to call the malls by their shorter form makes them really anal.
Why make life difficult?!

Me looking all "TADAAAAA" with my meal when in actual fact you can only see 1) raw egg 2) bowl of thingmajiggy that isn't even open. Nice.

Same for CX hahaha. Thinking why I didn't take the photo of the full meal (like the udon, which is the main highlight)

& Puipui with the same pathetic stuff haha. We do not just eat raw eggs and vegetables for lunch okayyyyy.

We then met Natty & Yueli and went over to TAB!

Awesome place (cos two talented guys were singing and one of them looked very cute TEEHEE >w< ).

We immediately turned into pasar malam aunties, grabbed our baskets and filled them up with makeup products! HOHOHOHO THE JOY!

Then came the part where we realised oops what we want exceeds our budget, and so we reluctantly put some items back to their shelves.

Subbed her for 2 days. Pretty good money, but it'll take some time for that money to reach my pocket. Salary for fairs like such require 2months at least to be processed. Meanwhile I remain BROKE.

This week feels so timewarped. Time passing so quickly as the week passes by, and the anxious wait for the results that made hours felt like days. 3 months of waiting, things whirled, and suddenly came 4th of March. I had nothing but fear, and perhaps that little bit of hope, hoping that I wouldn't do that bad. But I held myself back before I could start hoping big, because I know the higher the expectations, the greater the fall.

I know myself clearly, and I know I might not have given my best for this exam that determines my... WHATEVER IT IS.

Being back in school felt nice. Familiar faces everywhere, the noisy canteen, yadda yadda. Cutting the crap, my results aren't fantastic. Felt relieved, happy, yet sad and disappointed. To sum it up - confused would be the word. I wouldn't say it can get my anywhere, really. It's really risky, but I'm just gonna give it a try anyway. This feels SO different from O levels. I didn't give two fucks about O levels, did some last minute work, and could get a fairly okay grade. A levels took me three long years, and I still got shitty grades. I feel really happy for friends who did well, but some close ones around me are kinda in the same shit as I am. I can't really say "I'm glad we have each other" because NO WE'RE NOT. I would rather we all do well. But what's done is done, no? Just gonna have to work it out from here.

The travel to school from Yimei's place - SO DARN TENSE. All of us just kinda kept quiet throughout.

Pui Cynthia and I crashed at Yimei's place the previous night to "calm our nerves" (instead of the accompanying each other as planned initially...)

Imperfection

Sometimes I look into the mirror and start frowning, getting upset with how ugly I look. All I can see are my flaws and imperfections. I detest the reflection I see. Why can't I have nicer skin? I'm not asking for flawless skin. I just don't want blemishes all over my face. Why aren't they clearing up yet? Other people are all telling me that they'll clear up after a while. But no. My problem persists. How fucking damn long do I have to wait till my condition gets better? I know I sound superficial, but my skin problem has been troubling me for a long time. Do not try to be saint-like and tell me things like "looks doesn't matter as long as you're beautiful inside". Go fuck yourself. Because looks matters a whole lot and the whole world knows that. It affects my self-esteem. With all the shit that's on my face, I don't even look presentable or whatever. Concealer doesn't even work so I don't bother. Applying pimple creams doesn't show any effect. The dermalogical facial I went for left me with scars. Washing my face frequently made me breakout even more. I fear oral medications because once I stop the problems would come back. So what the fuck do I do? I am so ugly I am disgusted by myself.

Allow me to revitalize this pathetic little space in the world wide web once again. I've kinda forgotten about you, my dear blog. Hahaha. My life revolves around my job, and the fun after working, when I meet up with friends.

Office dynamics have changed so much since Estelli Angel and Puipui left. Now Lorraine and Cindy left the job to pursue their education as well. Joleen had to leave the job due to certain reasons. Wilson is leaving soon to take a break. We're all different people with different goals in life. I'm glad we were able to cross paths, to work as colleagues for that certain period of time. New temps are added to the team as well. Bixuan, Hongru, Huixin, Liza and Yiqi. & people who stay --- Jocelyn, Lawrence, and Leon (this boy ah, very indecisive).

What do I want? Am I happy with just sitting in the office fiddling with data entry, or do I want more in life? Maybe look for a job that serves my interest better? That may help me in my future career? Is it too late to look for one? Am I able to cope? A part of me just wants a simple life --- sit there earn money, the slacker it is the better. But another side of me wants to do something more, much more, something that can impact my life and maybe others. What do I want? I've been thinking for pretty long, and I still have no definite answer.

Shenghui is starting to show me more concern recently, which I am really glad about. :) the other day he offered to deliver selegie soya bean milk with pearls over to my place because I was having eye infection and he wanted to make me feel happier. Although he didn't really do it (because I'm going out and our timing clashed), but I'm really overjoyed by the fact that he had the thought to do such a sweet thing. Honestly, he's not that much of a sweet person. Romantic, uhhh, not so much. But he's sorta adorable (himbo himbo stupid stupid one) by himself, so much so I can be just happy sometimes w/o him doing anything much. Hahaha.

In any case, my pathetic bank was left with a mere sum of $0.09. Many wondered how I did it, and I'm puzzled too. Until last night. Lo and behold, my first sum of pay came in!!!!!! :D how elated I am! The money came at the right time. It's not a lot (because my pay is pathetic and DAMN YOU CPF) but those are money that I earned with my own effort, and I won't need to eat grass to survive!!!! Yahooooo! \(´▽`)/

Estelli Peixuan and I are also trying to setup a blogshop. Till date we didn't have much time to go into details and take time to set it up properly. But we'll do so soon and so friends please support our blogshop then! Promise to only bring in stuff with good quality and designs ;) & my two dearest girls, I love you two so so much. You guys are like sisters to me, like people I can never do without. ♥

So after chilling out on Friday...

Saturday

Met boyfie for a date to Science Centre for the CSI experience! We were so excited at first. But the day was just so damn lousy. We quarreled from beginning till end, from the time we met till we left each other. It was horrible and so exhausting. But I'm glad we made it through.

Screwed up day, I can't even believe how screwed up it is.
Timing dragged and late for dental, heavy downpour right when we wanted to leave, unable to hail a cab, decided to brave the storm, ended up getting drenched (or I would say SPLASHED by water puddles, TWICE, because of passing cars), late for dental, quarreling about senseless stuff, angry with each other etc etc.

But at the end we solved our problems so that's good :) Hate quarreling!

HAHAHA HIM WITH MY HAIRBRUSH AS HIS TOOTHBRUSH -.-

Supposed to go clubbing with friends, but ended up getting canceled. My bad. I dua all of them. Felt freaking guilty. So met with my two girls to have a chillout session to ease emotional tension haha.

Well... I forgot to bring my wallet. BUT I brought my coin savings out, because I was planning to deposit them into my bank.

Me: OMG I FORGOT TO BRING MY WALLET.
Driver: Uh... Okay....
Me: Do you mind if I pay by coins?
Driver: Uhhh sure, if you have that amount of coins....
Me: Okay hold on. *digs for 5mins* Okay uncle, here's $18.60.

HAHAHA BOW TO ME AND CALL ME COIN GOD!!!!! WIN.

We ended up at The Pump Room (some old people club. All expats and SPGs there. Duh. Presence of expats = presence of SPGs. This ridiculous SPG was lapdancing on this angmoh guy. Get a room lah.)

We were sulking when the live band played cos they played songs like "that's the way uh huh uh huh". & this middle-aged taitai infront of us kept signalling us to dance and kept shouting "WHY AREN'T YOU GIRLS ENJOYING YOURSELVES?!?!?!"

I'm sorry... but the music................ is hard to dance to.

THEN the DJ played some nice tracks and we hit the dance floor!!!!! Felt damn awesome.

Highlight of the night: Angmoh with 5 inch tall Dragonball Z Gouku headgear aka Huge yellow wig, with stockings and hot pants. (Y)

We then chilled by Singapore River and enjoyed the night breeze.
I really like nightlife. Not just clubbing (I don't even go often, or like it that much), but I like spending my night outside.
Just chilling in the pub, or having desserts, supper, or just staying over at friends' place. Spending time like this beats sleeping, doesn't it? (Okay fine, sleeping is as awesome as having nights outside!)

Been a long time since I really had a good rest. Squeezing out time to meet different groups of friends and handling work at the same time tired me out a little, although I had my fair share of fun in the process. But of course, nothing beats catching up with friends.

At one point of time I felt so lethargic all I could think about is sleep. So that's what I did. Slept early, woke up late, requested for a day off from work, and met my 2 favourite girls (YOU TWO BE HONOURED LOL!) the next day.

So long since I felt so free. Signed up for driving theory test with Estelli first. Kinda excited thinking about driving around town in my very own dream car in the shade of baby pink. A girl can dream, couldn't she?? :p

OMG I LOVE CHEESE TOFUS. I'd be so happy if someone got me cheese tofus for my birthday. Hahaha! No, I kid. But my love for cheese tofu is deep. Real deep. Finally got to eat em again ytd!!!! Felt like the happiest person alive!!! *spins around*

After our lunch at pastamania, we went for bowling! Sharing a lane with 2 pro kids was no joke.... We didn't even know how to operate the freaking machine. *headpalm* the two guys had to come over and say "errr you have one more go". We were SOOO embarrassed. But I'm happy I've improved! Winner for round 2, babyyyy! :D I used to lang gao (gutter) like every single round hahahaha.

And we slacked at Starbucks sipping our warm cuppas, chatting about everything and anything, and just enjoying each other's presence. Although we worked together for the past month or so, the only time we really had for each other is during lunch. So yesterday felt refreshing and brought us close :>

And the "Choko!! Matte!!!" inner joke still cracks me up whenever I think about it! LOLLLLL.

A lot has been going through my head the past few days. A lot has happened. I feel like I'm drifting on the open sea, clueless. I'm just counting the days as they pass by, with no direction to follow. I'm a very indecisive person, and I usually take the easy way out. I'm generally optimistic, but when I'm left alone, I tend to think about a lot of things.

Everything seems murky and uncertain, hard to find the gleam of light directing me to where I'm supposed to be. Barely rescued my own relationship due to certain reasons, not knowing where to go next --- to work, to stay, to leave, to enjoy? Also, worrying about my results, having nowhere to go.

It's just hard to think clearly with these thoughts bothering me, floating around the top of my head. But I guess I shouldn't over-think, and should just take a step at a time till I find an answer.

I dislike uncertainty. I'm bad at making decisions. But I guess facing different choices and choosing a path eventually is just inevitable in life. Gotta learn to suck it up, & learn to cope with change.

Spent my Sunday morning preparing sushi with Lorraine Estelli Peixuan Jocelyn and Cindy, along with laughters and non-stop chattering. Tiring it may be, but happy we were :)

Rushed down to barrage for picnic with an amazing buncha lovelies. The weather was a bit worrying. There were dark clouds passing above our heads, but good thing it didn't exactly rain, just a very slight drizzle. Other than that, the cool breeze was nice (a tad too breezy at times though), and at least it wasn't scorching hot!

Sabo-ed by Lawrence to eat sandwich that Wilson Leon and himself made. A sandwich that's smacked gaogao with wasabi and salt -_- it tasted SOOOOOOO gross. & to take my revenge and sabo Cindy to eat it.

"Eh cindy try try! Very nice one they make one" HAHA and Cindy's face went like BLEURGH!!!! HAHAHA.

After the picnic we decided hard and long and settled for "The Tourist". Wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad!

Then the guys played pool & the girls watched (& kinda played pool. But we were so lousy I can't say we played. We were just whackin' balls with a rod haha)

Love this bunch of people, rly. They're all so nice. Can't believe most of them are leaving so soon. ): gonna have to cherish the last few weeks spent w them! ♥

a new cycle of 365 days

Already 6 days into the new year, and I haven't quite gotten used to 2011. I've already set my new year resolutions, scribbled them down with glittered color pens, hoping it might make me look at them more often and actually fufil them.

Looking back at 2010, a lot went by in a flash. Mainly struggling with A level's. But the process was made so much better with the presence of dear friends whom I know will always be there with me. :> I wouldn't say 2010 has been a great year for me, but it wasn't bad either.

11 resolutions for 2011 in a glance

1) Be punctual

2) Take public transport, avoid cabs

3) Stop snoozing/dismissing my alarms

4) Spend more time with my family

5) Spend more time with Tora

6) Start having a goal for my future in terms of further education (local U? If not, other options available? I'm really not confident and confused about my future, to be honest.)

7) Be sure of what I want in my relationship, compromise and keep a balance

8) Cherish all my friends & make an effort to keep them close

9) Lose weight, tone up, and grow some boobs (I'm just kidding about the grow some boobs part. I think it might never happen.)

10) Obtain clear complexion

11) Read widely and gain knowledge --- literature wise, current affairs, fashion, beauty, tabloids, but of course!

Man, if anyone were to judge a person by his/her resolutions, people would judge me for being superficial/bimbotic/vain/bag of lazy bones.

Well here's my list of resolutions in 2010 and very obviously I failed most of em............

Just hoping 2011 that will be a better year for me! & for all of you out there ;)

Kay I know......... My blog is collecting dust. & to think I decided that I'll blog regularly just a month ago. Hahaha. Well it's difficult because I'm plain lazy.

So to backtrack a little, after coming back home from the Genting trip with my two lovely crazy girls, it was prom the next day. Pretty hectic, yes I'm aware.

Estelli and I met up at Angel's house to do our makeup and hair before setting off for Raffles Town Country Club. We were clueless about falsies and whatnot and we made quite a mess. But the pro me *cough* managed to figure something out and helped all of us apply falsies!

I pretty up screwed up my makeup and hair. Note to self: DONT KNOW HOW TO CURL HAIR, DONT ANYHOW TOUCH CURLING TONG. TYVM.

Well despite the ruined hair and overly wayang makeup, I would say I had fun cos of a company. & I think prom is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Look back at your teenage years when you're like 40+ and you realise you've never been to prom --- I think it's kinda sad.

& after prom was partying at post-prom. I wouldn't say Butter is an awesome club. And the dancefloor was packed. It was ladies night to begin with, hence the long drink queues. Only got one drink -_-

Time to blog about my little trip to Genting with my BBGs!

Day 1
Being the usual muddle-headed me, I mistakened the meeting time as 515am, an hour earlier than the actual meeting time 615am. So I spent an hour lingering around the bus terminal (which was really creepy and rundown) and had weird uncles talking to me. I mean, although I know they didn't mean harm (and I prolly have no 色 to 给他们骗... ) BUT STILL!!!! I ALONE ONE GUNIANG EARLY IN THE MORNING LEH WHAT YOU EXPECT!!!

When they reached (with estelli's relatives), they gave me rainbow cakes and a birthday card! :D
i honestly thought that was it but I was surprised throughout the whole trip!

SMARTASS ESTELLI FORGOT TO BRING THE RECEIPT/LETTER/IMPORTANT DOCUMENT THAT WAS REQUIRED TO LET US CHECK INTO OUR HOTELS.
She literally shouted "FUCK!!!!!!!!!" on the whole bus, with all her relatives around HAHAHAHA.
& we almost had nowhere to stay.

Their "stranded and nowhere to stay. we're turning into hobos" look.
Luckily, there's an invention by the name of FAX. THANK THE GENIUS WHO INVENTED THIS THING! HOLY COW.

& LIVING WITH NO DATA PLAN/RECEPTION ALMOST TOOK MY LIFE!

Compressed water bottle once we got down to Singapore because of differing air pressures!

I'm already missing days and nights spending with them, doing crazy stuff before sleeping every night.
But I'm glad I still get to see them at work! We're working at SPH tgth! (BORING STUFF!)

Had a class BBQ on 3rd Dec to celebrate the end of A's! Man, A's feels like it'd been over for so long already. Holidays are never too long, even though this one lasts for 8 months.

The BBQ was quite fail because of the rain. We were stuck under shelter for pretty long until the clouds started to clear up.

Feels awesome to be back in Singapore! My 4-day-getaway with my girls was simply awesome. A break from the all the hustle bustle in sgp, though I must say the trip wasn't exactly a totally relaxing one cos we had so much to take care of. Those two darlings also helped celebrate my birthday, popping random surprises one after another! Had a really great bday spent with my sweeties! ♥

Every time I go overseas I come back to be a person who can appreciate things more. We're so lucky to be born in sgp. Malaysian toilets are something that I seriously can't bear! Just stating one of the examples haha.
More about the trip when I have the time to upload photos!

Tomorrow's prom and I feel so unprepared! I'm totally too fat for prom. :< but oh well, it's once in a lifetime! We can only be young once, no?

Affairs of the heart

The boy and I had a huge thrash-out session yesterday night. All the small things added up to big problems in the past 2 years. I always thought our relationship was going fine and stable. But I realised there was many things bottled up on my part. I believe that communication is extremely vital in a relationship. But when I realised that my expectations and thinking is different from his, I gave up talking. When he doesn't understand my POV, I feel upset, but I tell myself "wake up tmrw and it'll be fine". Saying "it's okay" when it really isn't the case. I tell myself to accept it and try to adapt to the way he thinks and the way he does things. I always thought I was doing fine. Until yesterday, I realised that something was so wrong. I was unhappy with a lot of things and yet I didn't voice it out simply because I gave up trying. I shocked myself while talking to him. It was then I realised how unhappy I am. & we realised that we've actually so much difference that it's scary. 2years odd, and it's the first time I saw him cry because of sadness. "I didn't realise I was doing such a bad job as a boyfriend. I always thought I was fine." I felt like such a horrible horrible person for saying all the harsh things and hurting the person I love the most. It's the worse we've been through just yet. We were so close to giving up and, whenever he mentioned giving up my heart tore a little. We were hanging on such a thin thread. But we sat down, talked through it. We shouted at each other, cried, wiped our tears, cried again and finally settled everything that has been clogging up our hearts. Our relationship is too dear to be given up. Now that we've talked it out, we'll both work harder to be better individuals and lovers. We may look at certain issues differently, but as long as we have the commitment we'd be able to tide through any storm. Love conquers all. I'm gonna hang on to you whether you like it or not bby! :p

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED IT! Disney movies (almost all) never fails to meet up to expectations! The graphics left me in awe. Simply amazing.

Every girl loves a fairytale. Despite how different and complex our modern society is now, with all the high divorce rates and whatnot, deep inside every girl's heart we still yearn for something like a fairytale, a "happily ever after" with our Prince Charming. Deny it for all you want, I know you wanna be a princess! Cos I do too! Honestly, WHO DOESN'T?!

I'm a sucker for romantic stuff. I'm quite an emotional person. & I'm not afraid to say I appreciate guys who can do romantic stuff for you, and put you as his priority. Corny as it may seem, but when the person you love goes the extra mile to make you feel happy and loved, it feels wonderful.
(On hindsight, my boy is a direct opposite. He's hardly romantic at all... Maybe in the past but now.... T_T But aiyah I accept it already. Still love you okay bby <3)

I've finally gotten of A's! FINA-FUCKING-LLY!!!!! The immediate sense of relieve the moment geog paper ended. Already busy smiling to myself even before the examiner released us. FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!! TORMENTING TIMES ARE OVERRRR.

So right after the paper, Peixuan and I rushed to Bedok to get our hair duhnnnn. We be doin' our nailz 'N we be doin' our hairrrzzz~ Uh huhhhhh~! What was supposed to be awesome actually ruined our mood. Spent like 2hours doing our hair and the results weren't what we desired.

Erm if you can see, our base color is obviously DARK BROWN?

I mean yeah you can see a few streaks here and there but it wasn't what I wanted.

Freaking disappointed and I spent so much on it :( Peixuan went back to complain the next day and got her hair redyed for $10. She is now a chaoahlian with light brown hair hahahaha. No, I kid. I think her hair color now is aweshumz! But she hates it. She thinks she looks like some slutty chaoahlian.

I'm gonna get my hair redone at a salon I frequent. Hopefully it'll turn out better. Dang it, I'm squandering money away like water and I'm so guilty about that.

Today

Went for facial early in the morning at Su Beau Dermalogica Clinic. It's my first time going for a facial treatment! The staff there were professional and friendly, but well, not that much after the facial. I'll tell you why.

So initially when I called they said that the facial would be $79. Thinking it was reasonable, I decided to go for it. After analysing my skin condition, they said that I would require a package of higher "strength" for better effect. & yeah so I chose a $169 package. EXORBITANT. Yes I like to spend but I can't bear spending big money. These few days (hair dyeing and facial treatments) have sucked my blood thoroughly dry (or more so, my mom's blood. Cos my pocket money comes from her -____- Do not judge cos im looking for a job!)

So yeah I went for the package, the process was EXTREMELY RELAXING and comfortable, except for the extraction part. Extraction was totally excruciating and I never EVER wanna experience it ever again. I would consider myself to have quite a high pain threshold. But extraction was... well not exactly PAINFUL but it was super uncomfortable. Other than that, the massaging and what not, WAS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!

So there comes the part where money comes into play. Before leaving they kept pushing me to buy their series, to sign their package, to sign up for a second appointment. Super turned off cos I hate this sort of persuasive salesperson of whatever you call it la. FREAKING ANNOYING. I NO MONEY MEANS I NO MONEY LAH FUCKER. You want me to sell meat ah. *covers body* HAHA.

But anyway I'm hesitant about going back for a second time, even if it is effective. I do not have the ability to maintain such high costs of beauty treatment and what not. At most I'll just let my skin rot. It'd already been rotting for so long anyway.

My condition now is really horrendous. My skin is still traumatised and needs time to recover. & they told me not to put make up. *GASP* IDK how to go out with this face loh.

Okay vain issues aside. Accompanied Wuhuan to look for a dress suitable for a formal job interview, along with Peixuan. Cabbed to SPH for a job interview with Px after that. I really hope to get the job.

I need money to sustain my own daily activities. I want to stop relying on my parents. I want to earn money to save up for my future and also to treat my family to something good. I owe my parents too much and I ought to do something for them. I feel really bad whenever I take money from them, especially these few days. I have 8 months, and I don't wanna leech on my parents anymore.

SO SPH PLEASE ACCEPT ME OKAY. ACCEPT ME ESTELLI AND PEIXUAN SO ANGEL WONT BE ALONE! :D

Anyw, since when Singapore so happening ah? A 25 year-old male teacher is suspended for having consensual sex with a 15 year old minor. I mean like c'mon seriously... It wasn't even officially opened yet, but there's already a so many people there.

Most of the stores are not opened yet (some not even done with their furnishings and whatever), & the amount of people just makes you go into rage overdrive mode. I was angsty the whole time in the mall.

That being said, I can't wait for the mall to be officially operating!
There's Sogurt, Starbucks, Carls Jr, Putien, a library, Shaw theatres, Four seasons durian, Lailai, prata etc etc.
(You can notice that most of the stuff I mentioned are related to food...)

Was supposed to go swimming with Estelli and Peixuan this morning. Totally excited while we were discussing what would happen tomorrow --- "We'll meet at 630am then run to your friend's condo and swim for an hour, then we wash up and head to the library to study! THEN WE CAN HAVE NUGGETS! AND PONTIAN WANTON MEE!!!!"

"SIAO AH 630AM!" --- to avoid the harmful UV rays from the scorching sun la, arbo?! HANAR WE VAIN LAAAA. Don't wanna get tanned mah! But anyway... the plan failed because I had to wake up at 5am AND I JUST COULDN'T. To make things clear, I did wake up at 5 promptly. The problem was I continued lying on my bed using my Berry... Until I fell back into sleep. :) EY, cannot blame me one leh!!!

So I quickly woke up at 6 and we wanted to carry on with the plans, but received a text from Pui saying that swimming canceled! (DARN THAT MONTHLY BLEEDING WOMEN HAVE TO GO THROUGH) I guess today was just the wrong day to swim! But we're gonna make it a point to swim frequently yes?! ^^

SO PLAN B! Went for a run around my neighbourhood instead. My stamina sucks beegggg phatttt hairy b0rzzzzz! HOW TO BE SKINNY?!?!!??! >:c I don't have the patience and determination. Someone quickly invent some machine that produces waves that can destroy fats once and for all leh (except boob fats. My boobs so small reduce in size some more will become NOTHING). SURE EARN BIG BUCKS!

Time for an intense studying session now. Damn that human geog paper!!!! *clench fist*

So yesterday night I finally got to meet up with my sweethearts! Missed spending time together. So much has happened over the past few months and we didn't really have time to update each other. So glad I took the time out to catch up <3 We celebrated Evelyn's birthday as well!

So we told the waiter beforehand. So once we settled down, the cake came with lit candles!

Okay lah quite obvious the surprise. HAHA.

AND YESTERDAY BEST LOL she sneaked the present and put it right behind Evelyn's butt.
Then she asked "Eh Evelyn, my butt very itchy leh. Your butt not itchy meh? You wanna scratch or not?" HAHAHAHAHA.

Why, hello Blogger!

While being caught up with Twitter and exams (which are very soon ending), I've neglected my previous journal. I want to make it a point to blog because it helps me process my thoughts better. Maybe blogs are slowly losing their mojo, but I think blogs would still be the website that I can go to and look back at my past. Blogger has up-ed their interfaces while I was away, so now I'm back to give Blogger another try! Hopefully I can keep up! (Pardon the nebula-ish/hipster background but I'm kinda obssesed with sparkly glitters now) Will try to start blogging actively from now onwards! :)
